ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal --- For the third straight year, the ghost of the Philippine Cup haunts Meralco.

The Bolts absorbed their third straight loss in the 2018 All-Filipino Sunday at the Ynares center here, putting them at 1-3 to start the season.

Meralco is undermanned and struggling right now, however, veteran forward Jared Dillinger says that now is not the time to panic for the Bolts.

"We can't point fingers. We have to first blame ourself within, what did I do wrong?" Dillinger said after Meralco took an 18-point beating at the hands of TNT.

"It’s a long season, don’t panic but it’s not fun right now," he added.

In order to avoid another lost campaign, Dillinger says that Meralco should go back to basics.

Also, don't panic. That's the most crucial thing right now for the Bolts.

"We’re 1-3 and there’s nothing to be happy about. It’s a long season though. We have to go back, look at the film, get yelled out by our coach, look at all the mistakes that we made," he said.

"But more importantly we can’t press the panic button," Dillinger added.
