JMF the latest to approve of PBA's return to physical play
The reigning four-time league MVP says he's cool with the rough play as long as it's not dirty.

June Mar Fajardo is the latest player to give a vote of confidence in the PBA's return to a more physical style of play.

The reigning four-time league MVP says he's cool with the rough play as long as it's not dirty.

In fact, June Mar says that it's about time the players get used to that kind of action.

"Basta okay lang yung physicality as long as not to the extent na sadyain mo o intentional mong saktan yung kalaban mo," he said.

"Okay lang yung body-body, walang problema yun," Fajardo added.

June Mar certainly had no problems Wednesday against Globalport, finishing with a season-high 23 points despite the Batang Pier throwing various combinations on him on defense.

All in a day's work for the Kraken.

Ultimately, June Mar signing off on the league's initiative to make the game more physical appears to be the biggest badge of approval for now.

Fajardo, after all, has been the best player in the PBA for a while now.

"Mas pisikal ngayon. Tignan mo nga every game may nagaaway. Okay lang yun [physical game], mas okay yun masasanay tayo dun," Fajardo said.
