Chan on Phoenix playing the dangerous game: Kailangan di kami ma-rattle

Phoenix lost a 24-point lead and almost gave the game away to Ginebra.
Despite picking up a big win against Brgy. Ginebra, Jeff Chan is not too happy about his team's performance Friday in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup.
For one, Phoenix lost a 24-point lead to the Gin Kings and always gave the game away similar to what happened against Magnolia last week.
"Actually pangit pa rin eh. I think we were up mga more than 10 pa in the last five minutes pero again, yung finishing namin kailangan i-improve," Chan said after the Fuel Masters' 87-82 win.
"Kailangan namin maging smart, kailangan din namin na pag ganun yung lead namin, mas madiinan pa para di na sila maka-recover," he added.
With the Fuel Masters learning how to develop a winning attitude under new head coach Louie Alas, Chan is the perfect guy to help speed up that process being a two-time PBA Champion. The veteran sniper does have valuable experience in tense situations.
He kinda did just that against the Gin Kings, drilling a clutch jumper with 56 seconds to go to give Phoenix separation before nailing the final two free throws with 2.8 seconds left to seal the win.
Chan finished with 19 points total.
"Kailangan di kami ma-rattle," Chan said.
"Lalo na na-involve yung crowd kanina, nung humahabol sila. Kailangan yung composure nandun," he added.
