No tongue-lashing from Coach Caloy for suspended Almazan

"Hindi naman ako nagalit sa kanya. I just told him na next time, mag-isip isip din sya dahil medyo malaki yung fine," --- ROS head coach Caloy Garcia on the suspended Raymond Almazan.
Raymond Almazan didn't have a good week last week, that's for sure.
Benched against Phoenix, Almazan was ejected early in his comeback game against Kia last Jan. 20 for fighting against Eric Camson.
Rain or Shine lost to the Picanto.
And for that fight, Almazan was suspended one game by the PBA on top of a P20,000 fine. He was also dropped from the Gilas Pilipinas pool for missing three straight practices.
So yes, it was not a good week for Raymond.
Fortunately, it seems like he didn't get much punishment from his head coach for that fight with Camson.
"Hindi rin," Caloy Garcia said when asked if he scolded his prized center regarding the incident,
"Sabi ko naman sa kanya, human nature yun. I watched the video and wala, di ko nga alam bakit ginawa ni Camson yun. It's human nature, kahit naman siguro kanino gawin yun, kahit mabait ka, you're gonna retaliate," he added.
Late in the first half of the Rain or Shine-Kia game, Camson gave Almazan a piece of his elbow.
Almazan didn't appreciate the gesture and gave Camson an elbow in return and a free-for-all nearly erupted.
"Hindi naman ako nagalit sa kanya. I just told him na next time, mag-isip isip din sya dahil medyo malaki yung fine," Garcia said of Almazan.
"I think the team is, in the past few practices, medyo nagising din siguro sila," he added.
