Lee down again after suffering ankle injury vs. TNT
This is the latest setback for Lee in terms of his health. Just last offseason, he underwent surgery on his knee.

In a sight no one wants to see, Magnolia's star Hotshots Paul Lee was in pain early in the third quarter following a bad landing.

With 7:54 to go in third period of Magnolia's game against TNT Saturday, Lee missed a floater and twisted his ankle on the way down.

He laid on the floor for a while, obviously in pain while holding on to his left ankle.

Lee had to be carried off the floor by his teammates to get treated on the bench. He never returned and Magnolia had to complete the win against the KaTropa without him.

Initial diagnosis say that Lee has a high-ankle sprain. Head coach Chito Victolero confirmed such reports post-game.

"Medyo ano eh, medyo [malala] yung sprain. Maga na daw eh, so I think... buti sprain lang," Victolero said.

Fortunately, it looks like Lee can return to action after a couple of days depending on his recovery.

However, the Hotshots will have to wait and see if Lee can report in time for Magnolia's next pair of games vs. Blackwater and San Miguel, both of which will take place in the next eight days.

"Siguro after mga ilang days baka maka-balik na din si Paul. Malaki naman yung puso nung bata eh," Victolero said.
