After a rather controversial exit from Meralco last season, the enigmatic center, who now plays for Globalport, says that all is good with his former team.

Nabong has moved on, and he likes it that way.

"It's been water under the bridge the day it happened," Nabong said, referring to his suspension with Meralco that eventually led to his release from the Bolts.

Late in Game 1 of the Governors' Cup semifinals against Star, Nabong got into an argument with assistant coach Jimmy Alapag. He was suspended by the team the day after.

"It's been water under the bridge, no hard feelings to nobody but everything happens for a reason. I’m just blessed to get another chance to play basketball with my other former team, Global, and I’m just really blessed to still be here," he added.

While he says all is good, Nabong didn't deny the fact that he had some motivation playing his first game against the Bolts since the incident.

Nabong finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocks in the Globalport win Sunday.

"I mean, there's always motivation playing against your former teammates, former coach. But you know, I'm with Globalport now and we're really glad we got this win," he said.

"It was just like any other game. It feels good to win against them," Nabong added.
