Looks like Ben Mbala is on the move again.

Cameroonian big man Ben Mbala has signed with French professional basketball club Roanne Chorale Basket, after a one-month stint in Mexico, playing for Fuerza Regia de Monterrey in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional.

According to his tweet, the two-time UAAP men's seniors basketball MVP says that he is set to embark on a new journey in order to embrace what he called a 'better opportunity'.

The tweet included an emoji depicting the French flag, and an airplane.

In some of his replies, Mbala indicated that his stint in Mexico is done, and a better opportunity had come up.

The French club, part of the second-tier LNB Pro B league announced Mbala's signing on their website and on Twitter.

In the article, the club confirmed that it had signed Mbala and is set to arrive in France on Tuesday, and will first need to complete the necessary travel and health documents before making his debut.

The club also noted Mbala's illustrious with De La Salle University as part of his scouting report.

"A product of De La Salle in the Philippines, Ben Mbala played ten games in Latin America with Fuerza Regia (8.9 pts, 5.5 rebounds in 20 minutes). In the last African Cup, the big man born in Yaoundé, Cameroon lost to Nigeria in the quarter-finals despite his 32 points and 10 rebounds (21.8 pts, 9.3 rebounds, in 31 minutes of play and 4 games)," the translated article said.

The scouting report added that Mbala's quickness and athleticism will be a welcome addition to the team.

"Fast, vertical, it should complete the Roannaise attack and improve the team. It will be his first experience in Europe."

As a Cameroonian native, his fluency in French, and his previous experience in playing for a professional club in Mexico will definitely adjust quickly.
