The two hottest teams in the 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League will be going at it at the Baliwag Star Arena in Bulacan.

Alab Pilipinas, winners of five in a row, wages war against Thailand’s Mono Vampire, winners of three in a row, in front of their kababayans on Wednesday.

On the back of its hot streak, the Philippines has risen to top four in the standings. With one more win, Justin Brownlee, Renaldo Balkman, Ray Parks Jr. and company will find themselves in the top three.

That won’t come so easy, however, up against a Mono side which has long gotten into its groove with full-blodded Filipino Paul Zamar and Filipino-American Jason Brickman leading the way.
