Rosario taken out via stretcher after nasty fall
Rosario hit his chin after a bad fall and had to be taken away by medical personnel via stretcher. As of press time, no update on Troy's condition has been provided.

In a scene no once definitely want to see, TNT forward Troy Rosario was taken out of the MOA Arena via stretch Wednesday during the KaTropa's 2018 PBA Philippine Cup match against Phoenix.

Early in the fourth period, Rosario was going for a challenge and a defensive rebound and had a nasty fall, falling almost face first to the floor.

Troy's landing was compromised by Phoenix rookie Jason Perkins, who was streaking from behind looking for an offensive play following a miss.

However, replay showed that Perkins for sure didn't mean no harm as he tripped while running, causing him to fall as well.

Rosario, who hit his chin on the way down had to be taken away by medical personnel via stretcher. As of press time, no update on Troy's condition has been provided.

Prior to his exit, Rosario was up to four points and eight rebounds for the KaTropa in a little over 21 minutes on the floor.
