Kiefer would rather not shoot more game-winners anytime soon

While it's always fun to watch game winners, especially if players like Kiefer are the ones that's taking them, Ravena himself would rather not be forced to go through the entire process if given the choice. It's too stressful.
On Friday, Kiefer Ravena drilled his very first PBA game winner against Meralco in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup.
Wait, you missed it? Well you can watch it again below.
While it's always fun to watch game winners, especially if players like Kiefer are the ones that's taking them, Ravena himself would rather not be forced to go through the entire process if given the choice.
It's too stressful.
"Honestly no, hopefully not," Kiefer said when asked if the PBA can expect more game winners after his first one.
"As the coaches said, for the fans these types of games, it's very good. But for the players and the coahing staff, it's not," he added.
Still, despite this rather shocking revelation, Ravena wouldn't mind taking them again in the future.
Of course, winning is a priority. And making big-time plays, like the two he did against the Bolts, is his way of respecting the game of basketball.
"For me, it's just my way of respecting the game, respecting my opponents kasi you know, you want to give your best every single game. I wanted to help my team win again," he said.
Against the Bolts, Kiefer also didn't want to help his team down. After the Road Warriors fought back from being down 18 points, it would have been a wasted if they just lose after taking the lead late.
Ravena first drilled a cold-blooder triple with 43 seconds to go to give NLEX and 83-82 lead.
However, with his team now up 85-82, Kief gave up a three-point play to Chris Newsome, allowing the Bolts to tie things up.
And so, Ravena's fallaway jumper over Newsome to regain the lead with 0.9 seconds to go was his way of not letting his team down.
"I was fortunate enough to get it. Hindi mo alam yung outcome nung game hanggang hindi mo sinusubukan itira. Nico was in front of me, played good defense and it could have been a very bad shot if I missed. But sabi ko lamang ng dalawa, let's try to go for the lead. Buti na lang swerte at pumasok," Ravena said on his first clutch hit.
"I made a terrible defensive play with Chris and it was very bad for me. Hindi ko ginusto na yung effort ng buong team masasayang dahil sa wrong play ko di ba so I had to make up to the whole team. Buti naman na-shoot yung huling tira ko," he added.
