Chot reveals 14-man Gilas pool for Australia game
Announced by head coach Chot Reyes on social media Sunday, the Philippines will choose its final 12 from the lineup of Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Calvin Abueva, Carl Bryan Cruz, Japeth Aaguilar, June Mar Fajardo, Andray Blatche, and Abu Tratter.

Gilas Pilipinas is bringing a 14-man roster to Australia for the second window of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Announced by head coach Chot Reyes on social media Sunday, the Philippines will choose its final 12 from the lineup of Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Calvin Abueva, Carl Bryan Cruz, Japeth Aaguilar, June Mar Fajardo, Andray Blatche, and Abu Tratter.

Troy Rosario, who practiced with the national team last week, was not given medical clearance following his bad fall against Phoenix last Feb. 7 while Mac Belo is still recovering for a hamstring issue.

Gilas Pilipinas will challenge the Boomers on Feb. 22 in Melbourne, with the winner taking over solo first in Group B.

Three days later on Feb. 25, Gilas will host Japan at the MOA Arena.
