"I think yung team effort yun yung mas importante. Kasi lumamang na kami tapos nawala pa, pero hindi nag-give up yung team. I think yun yung mas glaring kesa sa triple-double." --- Jvee Casio.
On Friday against Rain or Shine, Jvee Casio recorded his first ever career triple-double.
Seriously, first ever.
With that nice career achievement, PBA Press Corps president Gerry Ramos gave Casio a copy of the game stats for him to keep.
However, Casio pretty much downplayed his triple-double, saying that the win was more special as it marked Alaska's return to the playoffs after a two-conference hiatus.
"Yung win lang kasi syempre, going to the playoffs gusto rin namin may confidence kami," Casio said, who finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
"Going to the playoffs, gusto namin yung character namin buo and yung may confidence," he added.
Unaware that he already got his first career triple-double, Jvee instead focused on his team's tremendous effort down the stretch to pull out a win over the Elasto Painters.
"I think yung team effort yun yung mas importante," he said.
"Kasi lumamang na kami tapos nawala pa, pero hindi nag-give up yung team. I think yun yung mas glaring kesa sa triple-double," Casio added.
