Globalport, Ginebra look to formalize entry to the playoffs
It's a simple scenario for the only neon green team in the PBA: win and you're in.

If Globalport wants to avoid computing for quotients, then the Batang Pier better take care of business against Phoenix Friday at the elimination round of the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup comes to a close.

It's a simple scenario for the only neon green team in the PBA: win and you're in.

In fact, Global can even rise up to the no. 6 seed, avoiding a twice-to-beat disadvantage in the playoffs.

As for the Fuel Masters, they have no other option than to win because if they lose, they wouldn't need to compute for quotient since they're out.

Tip off for this game will be at 4:30 p.m. live from the Big Dome.

In the second game at 7:00 p.m., Ginebra also has a pretty simple scenario similar to Globaport: win and you're in.

The Gin Kings can finish as high as fourth place with a win but if they lose, they might be staring at a knockout game on Sunday.

On the other hand, the Elasto Painters are already sure of a playoff spot but ROS wants a shot at the no. 4 spot. Also, entering the playoffs after beating San Miguel and Ginebra back-to-back sure is a nice confidence boost.
