After first playoff win, Kiefer wants first semis for NLEX

"It's nice to have that feat and hopefully we get another tasted of history for the franchise by making it to the semis." --- Kiefer Ravena.
With Kiefer Ravena leading the charge, NLEX finally got its first PBA playoff win in franchise history.
That's nice and all, but no Road Warrior will celebrate that feat because that's not the end goal for the team.
"It's nice to be part of history of the franchise. But we're not satisfied," Ravena said Monday after NLEX took a 1-0 lead over Alaska in their best-of-3 quarterfinals series in the 2018 Philippine Cup.
"That wasn't the goal that we set during the start of the season," he added.
Kiefer, who scored 25 points in his playoff debut, has his sights on helping the Road Warriors achieve more history in this current run.
"It's nice to have that feat and hopefully we get another tasted of history for the franchise by making it to the semis. We're one foot in, hopefully we get the other foot in too and close the door," he added.
After a tough Game 1 against Alaska, Ravena expects the Aces to come out hard in Game 2.
And to avoid a do-or-die Game 3, the Phenom says that NLEX should be forgetting this series-opening win by now.
"Alaska is gonna come hard so we have to keep our feet on the pedal, focus, and forget this win. Recover well in time for more intense and physical Game 2," he said.
"It's just a best-of-3 series, hindi siya best-of-7 na minimum four games lalaruin niyo, ito pwedeng dalawa lang so yung mga ganitong games kailangan ma-capitalize," Ravena added.
