Kiefer, Road Warriors out to finish off Alaska
The Road Warriors go for the kill Wednesday as their Philippine Cup quarterfinals series against Alaska resumes at the Big Dome.

If NLEX is to make franchise history anew and make the PBA semifinals for the first time, now is the chance.

The Road Warriors go for the kill Wednesday as their Philippine Cup quarterfinals series against Alaska resumes at the Big Dome.

NLEX currently leads the best-of-3 affair at 1-0 after a 105-99 win Monday.

That Game 1 win was the first playoff victory for the Road Warriors in the PBA. A second playoff win means a trip to their first semifinals.

However, Alaska should have a say in that as the Aces look to finally beat NLEX.

Calvin Abueva and co. have yet to beat the Road Warriors in five games dating back to last year's Philippine Cup.

Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Brgy. Ginebra also look to advance as they engage with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters for the third time in less than a week.

The Gin Kings lead their series, 1-0.
