Pingris leaves Game 1 of NLEX-Magnolia due to knee injury
Near the five-minute mark of the fourth quarter Saturday for Game 1 of the semifinals against NLEX, the veteran Magnolia forward went down with an apparent knee injury.

Marc Pingris is the latest PBA star to be taken off the court via stretcher this season.

Near the five-minute mark of the fourth quarter Saturday for Game 1 of the semifinals against NLEX, the veteran Magnolia forward went down with an apparent knee injury.

Pingris was driving against JR Quinahan in the baseline when his left knee just gave out.

There was no contact.

Obviously in pain, Pingris was taken to the locker room via stretcher where he received first-aid treatments.

No updates to his condition have been made available although initial word is that he's going straight to the hospital to take an MRI.

Pingris was sidelined for some parts of last season due to a hip injury.
