Ping out for the rest of semis vs. NLEX
In the fourth quarter of Game 1 last Saturday, Pingris' knee gave out while driving against Road Warriors forward JR Quinahan.

Marc Pingris is out for the rest of the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

According to several reports, including that of Manila Bulletin's Waylon Galvez, Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero has confirmed the development that Pingris will miss the rest of the series against NLEX.

In the fourth quarter of Game 1 last Saturday, Pingris' knee gave out while driving against Road Warriors forward JR Quinahan.

There was no contact and Pingris had to be taken out of the court via stretcher. He later went to the hospital to undergo an MRI.

While the full extent of Pingris' injury is yet to be determined, the veteran Magnolia forward is officially being shelved for the remainder of the playoff series vs. NLEX, which the Road Warriors currently lead, 1-0.
