NLEX's dream playoff run continues.

Following a 91-79 victory over Magnolia in Game 4 of their semis series, the Road Warriors have tied the best-of-7 at two games apiece.

More importantly, NLEX is halfway to making its first-ever PBA Finals appearance.

Reduced to a best-of-3 affair, this showdown shifts into higher gear.

"Game 5, syempre who wins that game one game away na lang from the Finals. We know the importance of that naman. Siguro, we have to go into practice... kumbaga chess match na to eh," guard Kevin Alas said.

"Ako personally, I hoping na we're gonna make history. But it has to start in practice tomorrow. Malaking bagay yun eh. Pag nagpa-practice kami ng maganda, nae-execute namin yung game plan sa practice, nata-translate sa game," he added.

After taking a 1-0 lead, the Road Warriors want another shot at getting ahead in this series.

However, it's going to take a huge amount of focus and mental toughness for the rather young NLEX crew to pull through.

"Siguro it's a matter of giving your 100 percent kasi sometimes going into the game, akala namin, we're feeling good about ourselves eh," Alas said.

"Magandang wake up call samin yung back-to-back losses namin [in Games 2 and 3]," he added.
