Ravena's maturity shines anew in NLEX's Game 4 win
Ravena drilled 11 of his game-high 20 points in the final 12 minutes.

In the latest display of maturity beyond his years, Kiefer Ravena went off for NLEX in the fourth quarter of Game 4 against Magnolia, icing the Road Warriors' series-tying win in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

Ravena drilled 11 of his game-high 20 points in the final 12 minutes.

At one point, he scored seven straight, including a booming triple in the final 1:42 to remove any shadow of doubts with regards to NLEX's win.

"Nalagay namin yung sarili namin sa sitwasyon na maganda eh," Kief said.

"Medyo malaki yung lamang namin coming into the fourth quarter, that lead really was something na ayaw kong pakawalan kasi ang hirap kalaban ng Magnolia eh. During those last five minutes, I just didn't want to let my team down because we worked so hard to build that lead," he added.

After leading by as many as 17 points, Ravena said it was on them to take care of that advantage.

Making it hard for themselves in the end game was never an option.

"Pag lumalamang sila, grabe sila mag-alaga ng lamang," Ravena said of the Hotshots.

"And for us to get better, we have to learn how to take care of leads. Hindi pwede na lalamang ka ng malaki, bibigay ka tapos ilalaban mo sa dulo. Kung kaya mong maglagay ng cushion or gawing mas madali yung yung game sa end game, gagawin naman namin," he added.
