JR Quinahan is denying any malicious intent over his hit to Jio Jalalon in Game 6 of the Philippine Cup semifinals featuring NLEX and Magnolia.

Late in the first half Tuesday, the spitfire Magnolia guard was down on the floor after taking an arm to the face from Quinahan.

Jalalon was going for a layup and Quinahan was going for the block when the incident happened.

Quinahan was called for a flagrant foul penalty 2 and was promptly ejected. The Road Warriors ended up losing the game and the series to Magnolia.
