At 16 years old, six-foot-five Filipino-American guard Jalen Green already has a lot of accomplishments under his belt.
He's currently number 1-ranked among all sophomores in the U.S., and he's taking his mother's home country by storm with his height, his Filipino blood, and dazzling play.
Friday afternoon, the second-year player added another accomplishment to his growing hoops resume.
In the third quarter of the National Basketball Training Center Division 1 All-Star Game, Green, who already had multiple dunks earlier, sliced his way to the rim with bad intentions.
Kai Sotto, a 7-foot-1 swatting machine, and one of the Philippines' brightest young stars, decided to take his chances in blocking Green.
Green, who was giving up at least half a foot in height, rose up, absorbed the contact, and threw it down with one hand.
Call it Green being a beast, call it Kai needing more work. But a couple of things are certain: Jalen Green is legit, and Kai Sotto isn't afraid of contact.
In the end, Sotto's Team Hustle got the 99-91 win over Green's Team Heart.
