Che’Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian College-Recoletos became the fourth team to clinch a spot to the 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup playoffs, blasting Batangas-Emilio Aguinaldo College with a 39-point beatdown, 99-60, on Monday at the Ynares Arena in Pasig.

The well-rested Revellers were on-point for the game, going 15-of-37 from threes and got a huge boost from their reserves with 57 bench points.

Samboy de Leon led the rout with 15 points, eight coming in the first quarter pullaway, to go with eight rebounds in his team's fifth straight conquest.

Allyn Bulanadi dropped 13 markers built on three triples while Ryan Costelo also shot 3-of-4 from downtown to wind up with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Alfred Batino chipped in 13 markers and eight boards while Jayson David got 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists in the win.

“Kahit paano, makaka-relax na,” quipped a relieved coach Stevenson Tiu. “We’ve been preparing for this game kasi talagang importante ito sa amin. At least with this win, assured na kami ng quarters.”

Che’Lu-San Sebastian currently sits at fourth with its 7-3 card and could secure a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals with a victory against Marinerong Pilipino on April 3.

The Revellers bucked a slow start and used a 9-0 charge to take a 9-4 lead early and then opening the floodgates, where they extended the lead to as much as 44, 99-55, in the waning seconds of the tussle.

Cedrick Ablaza led cellar-dwelling Batangas-EAC with 14 points and seven rebounds while Cedric de Joya got 10 markers, three boards, and three assists.
