Even the most optimistic fan will agree that Magnolia is the heavy underdog in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
Sure, the Hotshots and the Beermen finished with identical records in the elimination round but seriously, just look at San Miguel's star power.
It also doesn't help that Magnolia was down 20 points in each of the two games so far. The Hotshots managing to steal Game 1 is a bigger victory than it seems.
Not only did it prove that the Hotshots can compete, they have a chance at winning.
And after a failed comeback in Game 2 allowing the champion Beermen to pull even in the Finals, Magnolia is licking its wounds and is preparing to get that second win in the best-of-7.
"Yun talaga nangyari eh, kinapos. Subukan ulit namin sa Game 3," Lee said.
