PBA: Rested June Mar only means more problems for Magnolia
The Kraken didn't play in the final 12 minutes as San Miguel's reserve crew, and Marcio Lassiter, took care of the win.

As if Magnolia doesn't have enough problems to deal with in the 2018 PBA Finals, the Hotshots will now face an extra fresh June Mar Fajardo in Game 4 of the series come Wednesday.

Magnolia was smashed anew in Game 3 Sunday, taking an 87-111 beating to surrender series lead.

While the Beermen's bench took the spotlight especially in the fourth quarter, lost in all of it was June Mar's 21 points and 17 rebounds in just 33 minutes.

The Kraken didn't play in the final 12 minutes as San Miguel's reserve crew, and Marcio Lassiter, took care of the win.

"Maganda kasi yung nilaro ng second group namin," Fajardo said.

"So nabigyan nila kami ng pahinga. Credit talaga sa mga teammates ko, nag-step up talaga sila kaya nakapag-pahinga kami," he added.

After leading by at least 20 points in each of the three games, June Mar says it's key for San Miguel to stay focused moving forward.

The Beermen are two wins away from a four-peat and now is not the time to let up.

"Sana maging focused ulit kami, hindi kami maging kampante sa next game namin kasi for sure, yung kabila, bibigay nila 'yung best talaga nila para manalo," he said.

"So ganoon din kami. Gusto nila manalo ng championship, kami din gusto din namin," Fajardo added.
