Ray Parks Jr. did not need any rest whatsoever to help Alab Pilipinas score its first-ever playoff win

Ray Parks Jr. and Alab Pilipinas now have a playoff win under their belt.

Make no mistake about it, the reigning and defending Local MVP played a big part in making it happen.

Parks Jr. topped the scoring column for the Filipinos with 24 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals all while playing 40 minutes.

Yes, he was not subbed out for the entire game.

And afterward, the 25-year-old didn’t look tired at all. “I’m still good. I’m glad that [conditioning] coach Chappy [Callanta] got us in great shape,” he said with a big smile post-game.

As it turns out, it was Parks Jr. himself who decided he was playing each and every second of the game. “The coaching staff was actually asking if I wanted a sub, but I was like, ‘Nah, I’m good. I’m great,’” he shared.

Saigon better watch out because the do-it-all swingman is ready and raring to go another full 40 minutes in Game 2 on Saturday. Asked if he can do it all over again, he answered, full of confidence, “Yeah, yeah, yeah!”
