PBA Finals Game 4 By the Numbers: One more for the road

San Miguel needs one more win to achieve history. Again.
Chito Victolero says his Magnolia crew played its best game Wednesday in the Philippine Cup Finals.
The Hotshots still ended up losing Game 4 and are now down 1-3 in the best-of-7.
Playing your best game may not be enough to beat San Miguel, you might have to play perfect.
The Hotshots are running out of time to figure out how to play perfect.
Before we move on to Game 5, which is the first of three closeout games for the Beermen in order to complete a four-peat, let's go back to Game 4's numbers pretty quickly.
Number of BPC awards for June Mar Fajardo, most in league history.
Fajardo made history again prior to Game 4, breking his tie with Danny Ildefonso for most BPC awards ever.
Now the Kraken is officially the leader for this season's MVP race, which if he wins will be his fifth straight. And that's another piece of history right there.
Number of teams that took a 3-1 lead in the PBA Finals and won the whole thing.
Taking a 3-1 lead in the Finals means you have 95 percent chance of winning the title (35 out of 37).
In the whole history of the PBA, 52 teams have taken a 3-1 lead in a series and 48 of them won. San Miguel might be closing in on history, it could be just a matter of time.
Number of teams that won four straight All-Filipino titles.
Crispa did it before, but the Redmanizers won four straight over the course of six years. (There was no All-Filipino tournament for two years)
San Miguel is looking to be the first and only team to win four straight Philippine Cup in four straight years.
Number of total free throws for Magnolia.
This is the second game in this serires where the Hotshots only attempted seven charities and they're actually worse now compared to Game 2.
Magnolia only made three free throws against the San Miguel. If they made all seven, or if they attempted more for that matter, we could have been staring at a different result.
Number of bench points for San Miguel.
The Beermen's reserves were brought down to Earth; however, the starters did their usual stuff and carried the team to victory.
Alex Cabagnot (27), Marcio Lassiter (18), June Mar Fajardo (16), and Arwind Santos (13) all scored un double figures while Chris Ross has eight rebounds and seven assists.
