"Magagaling ang mga import this coming conference, but it happens na dalawa ang import na darating samin. Isa from from Hong Kong and isa from the US," --- San Miguel head coach Leo Austria on Christian Standhardinger.
Head coach Leo Austria is not going to be overconfident.
But still, he likes his chances in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
After all, the defending champion Beermen will have two imports coming in.
Troy Gillenwater is already in town.
2017 No. 1 pick Christian Standhardinger will soon follow.
"Magagaling ang mga import this coming conference, but it happens na dalawa ang import na darating samin. Isa from from Hong Kong and isa from the US," Austria said, talking about Christian Standhardinger.
After San Miguel wrapped up a historic PBA Philippine Cup four-peat, the Beermen are once again primed for a Grand Slam.
With Standhardinger set to arrive after he finishes his ongoing ABL stint with Hong Kong Eastern, the winningest PBA franchise looks like its set to win again.
Austria is not going to be overconfident though.
"The possibility is still there, every conference [winning a title], but you still need to work hard," Austria said as his super team just got more powerful.
"Talent is not enough. If they work hard and have a good camaraderie and good preparation, there's a great possibility that we can win another championship," he added.
