Justin Brownlee and Alab Pilipinas travel to Vietnam to finish up their quarterfinals series against Saigon

8:00 PM (Philippine time) – Saigon Heat vs Alab Pilipinas

If Justin Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman have an encore performance in Game 2 of the quarterfinals of the 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League, then Alab Pilipinas will be headed to a grander stage.

The Filipinos will lean on Brownlee and Balkman once more as they try to complete a series sweep of home team Saigon on Saturday at the CIS Arena in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

On the other hand, the Heat hope to take full advantage of their rowdy home crowd starting at 8:00 PM to send the series back to Manila. The action will be available via livestream and tomorrow 8:00 p.m. on S+A and S+A HD.

The Philippines used total team effort to take Game 1 last Wednesday, 110-100.

They plan to change nothing with Brownlee and Balkman continuing to do the heavy lifting with Ray Parks Jr. continuing to complement them.

Still, that isn’t a sure recipe for success especially with the Vietnamese raring to rally around the absence of suspended head coach Kyle Julius. Maxie Esho and Akeem Scott will yet again be at the forefront of the attack as they go all-out to stay alive.
