After multiple stints with Gilas Pilipinas, the Blur-Bro combination will be tested in the PBA. (FIBA)
Despite moving from Globalport to TNT, do expect Terrence Romeo the star scorer to stay pretty much the same.
But while the Bro can continue to get as many buckets as he can, there will be some slight adjustments by which he'll get his numbers.
After all, he's no longer a Batang Pier, he's a KaTropa now. Things are done a certain way in TNT.
"Alam naman namin na kaya niya [mag-score], why not di ba," Jayson Castro said of Romeo's scoring capabilities.
"Papabayaan namin siya maglaro, hindi naman namin tinatangal sa kanya yun. Pero yun nga, within the system kasi iba yung system dun [Globalport], iba yung system dito," the Blur added.
Another change Romeo has to deal with is the fact that everything that goes down in TNT usually come hand-in-hand in winning.
The arrival of Terrence increases the expectations for the KaTropa. It's championship or bust now.
And Castro, the one true alpha in TNT, is making sure his new star running mate knows all about that.
"At the same time yung winning culture ng TNT before, kailangan namin ipa-[realize] sa kanya na dito," Castro said of Romeo.
"May target kami. May lagi kaming goals na kailangan ma-accomplish. For sure, malaking tulong si Terrence samin, alam naman natin kung anong kaya niya gawin," Castro added.
