8:00 PM – Alab Pilipinas vs Mono Vampire

Alab Pilipinas could not close out Mono Vampire in Game 4 of the Finals of the 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League.

Now, the Filipinos and the Thais will have one last duel to settle the score and that ultimate matchup of the season will be on Wednesday in Laguna’s Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex.

The winner takes all after Game 5 tipping off at 8:00 PM. As always, all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

Behind a total team effort as well as clutch plays from Filipino imports Jason Brickman and Paul Zamar, Thailand stayed alive in the series with a well-earned 88-83 win two days ago.

It didn’t help the Philippines either that both Renaldo Balkman and Justin Brownlee turned in substandard showings.

With the crowd back in their favor, however, Balkman, Brownlee, and back-to-back Local MVP Ray Parks Jr. are nothing but confident they will be finishing the job this time around.

If they do so, Alab will be getting its first championship in its two-year franchise history and will be getting its country’s first championship since 2013.
