MANILA, Philippines --- After a promising but winless stint Friday, Perlas Pilipinas is out to steal a win in its final day of pool play in the 2018 FIBA 3x3 World Cup.

Perlas took an 11-21 beating at the hands of the Netherlands to start its campaign in Pool D.

But the national women's team recovered and nearly pulled off an upset of Germany. Still, Perlas ended up losing, 10-12.

On Sunday at the Philippine Arena, Jack Animam, Afril Bernardino, Janine Pontejos, and Gemma Miranda take the 3x3 court again, looking to snatch a win from no. 3 Hungary and no. 12 Spain.

Perlas will play Spain at 4:20 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. showdown vs. Hungary.
