Anastasia Logunova scored the final two free throws in overtime as defending champion Russia beat France in the semis.

BOCAUE, Bulacan --- Defending champion Russia is back in the Finals as well.

The no. 5 Russians withstood a worthy challenge from France, needing a wild overtime session to score a 19-17 win in the semifinals of the 2018 FIBA 3x3 World Cup at the Philippine Arena here on Tuesday.

Alexandra Stolyar drilled a two-pointer to put the champs up, 17-16, late in regulation but France managed to force extra time.

Both teams had the chance to go for the win later but it was Anastasia Logunova that got the job done for the champs.

The 6'3" forward exploited a mismatch with France's Marie-Eve Paget and got a foul.

With France in penalty situation, Logunova calmly made the two free throws to seal the win for Russia.

Anna Leshkovtseva scored eight points to pace the champs. Stolyar and Logunave added five apiece.

Christelle Diallo finished with eight points for France.

Russia will meet Italy in the Finals after the Italians upset no. 1 China also in overtime, 15-13.

Rae Lin D'alie fired 10 points for Italy, including three two-pointers, while Giulia Ciavarella added three points. JiaYin Jiang paced China with six points and ZhiTing Zhang was good for four.
