Jayson Castro and Terrence Romeo will be at the head of the attack for the Philippines in the 2018 Asian Games
The core of TNT will be joined by naturalized player Andray Blatche and Gilas cadets Ricci Rivero and Kobe Paras for the Philippines’ bid in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
Asia’s best point guard Jayson Castro will be spearheading the attack and will be flanked by KaTropa teammates Jericho Cruz, RR Pogoy, Terrence Romeo, Troy Rosario, Anthony Semerad, Don Trollano, and Kelly Williams in the tournament scheduled for August 18 until September 2.
The eight TNT players, currently sitting at 6-3 in the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, will be reinforced by Blatche, back in the Philippines for the first time since second window of Asian Qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup, as well as young talent Rivero, Paras, and Abu Tratter.
The development was confirmed by head coach Chot Reyes himself in the team’s practice last Monday evening at the Meralco Gym in Ortigas.
