MANILA, Philippines --- After a defiant response Monday right after Gilas Pilipinas lost to Australia by default due to an ugly brawl involving both teams, it appears that Terrence Romeo has calmed down.
Romeo was unapologetic in his immediate reactions following the free for all, but on Wednesday, Terrence finally issued a proper apology.
Posting on his Twitter account, Romeo apologized to everyone, including the Australians.
Gilas naturally took a lot of flak for the incident and Romeo hopes that in time, people can learn to trust the national team again.
They, as national team players, will work on regaining that trust.
Several Gilas boys have apologized on their own as well. Now, the national team is waiting for any possible sanctions from FIBA regarding the matter.
