SUPER 8: NLEX up first in Macau invitational
NLEX will open the Super 8 tournament against the ABL's Formosa Dreamers at 3:00 p.m. from the Macau East Asian Games Dome.

The 2018 Summer Super 8 tournament in Macau is ready to go and the PBA's NLEX Road Warriors will start things off Tuesday.

NLEX will open the tournament against the ABL's Formosa Dreamers at 3:00 p.m. from the Macau East Asian Games Dome.

Following a breakthrough semifinals stint in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup, the Road Warriors crashed and burned and the Commissioner's Cup.

Already dealing with Kevin Alas' ACL injury, NLEX lost star rookie Kiefer Ravena to FIBA suspension. The Road Warriors limped to a 2-9 record in the mid-season joust.

NLEX is using the Super 8 to build up for the season-ending Governors' Cup in the PBA.

The Dreamers are Taipei's representatives in the Asean Basketball League but their maiden season didn't exactly end well, finishing with a 1-19 record for last place out of nine teams.
