Mikee Reyes stuffed the stat sheet to lead Bacoor to victory
Mikee Reyes turned in the most complete game in his career to lead Bacoor back inside the winner’s circle in the 2018 Maharlika Pilipinas Anta-Datu Cup.
Reyes collected 21 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds as the Strikers made quick work of Caloocan, 86-68, last Thursday at the Batangas City Coliseum.
The S+A analyst also added two steals for good measure to go along with the first-ever triple-double of his career.
Marlou Aquino, a member of the PBA’s 40 Greatest Players, turned back the clock to contribute 16 points, four assists, three blocks, and two rebounds in Bacoor’s third win out of five.
Paul Sanga was the lone bright spot for the 2-3 Supremos with 14 points.
In the day’s other game, Cebu silenced home team Batangas, 72-66.
Rhaffy Octobre was red-hot all game long and wound up with 25 points on top of 10 rebounds to shoot the Sharks to their first win in five games.
For the 2-3 Athletics, Moncrief Rogado topped the scoring column with 11 points.
