MPBL: Paranaque, Pampanga both triumph in overtime

The MPBL just had two overtime games with Paranaque and Pampanga both coming out on top
The gameday last Wednesday in the 2018 Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League went way over the time limit.
At the end of the day, it was Paranaque and Pampanga who stood over their respective foes at the Olivarez College Gymnasium.
The home team Patriots beat out Caloocan in overtime, 94-87, behind Harold Arboleda who flirted with a triple-double with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
Arboleda was flanked by Robin Rono and John Ambuludto who scored 23 and 20 points, respectively, to help hike Paranaque’s record to 4-2.
On the other hand, the Supremos dropped to 2-4 despite the best efforts of Mar Villahermosa who had 21 points.
In the day’s other game, Jong Baloria propelled the Lanterns right through Batangas, 80-75, also in overtime.
Baloria collected 18 points, six rebounds, and two blocks while Michael Juico and Marlon Gomez combined for 28 markers, 19 boards, and 11 assists for now 3-3 Pampanga.
Teytey Teodoro had 20 points to pace the Athletics who dropped their fourth game out of six.
