Joining Thompson in coach Yeng Guiao's Final 12 are Raymond Almazan, Beau Belga, Alex Cabagnot, Paul Lee, JP Erram, Marcio Lassiter, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Ian Sangalang, Christian Standhardinger, and Asi Taulava.

Of the 16 men that Team Pilipinas brought to Iran, Japeth Aguilar and Mattew Wright missed the cut due to their one-game suspension while Stanley Pringle will give way this time in favor of Standhardinger.

Pringle and Standhardinger both count as naturalized players in FIBA tournaments.

Meanwhile, Slaughter will sit this one out due to lingering ankle issues. The Ginebra slotman tweaked his left ankle late in a game against Northport exactly one week ago.

The Philippines (4-2) will Iran (5-1) in Tehran Thursday.
