ASIA LEAGUE: Rematch clauses invoked in Terrific 12 semis
Guangzhou was the first to advance followed by Ryukyu and Seoul. Nagoya completed the cast by winning a do-or-die showdown against the Zhejiang Lions.

MACAU --- Rematch clauses have been invoked in the Asia League.

The Terrific 12 semifinals is set and Saturday should have a pair of great games as four teams have business to settle amongst each other.

The main 7:00 p.m. showdown at the Studio City Event Center here feature the CBA's Guangzhou Long Lions and the KBL's Seoul Samsung Thunders.

Guangzhou and Seoul met in July's Super 8 Finals. The Long Lions won, 78-72, and are looking for a repeat this time around.

Or will the Thunders finally get their revenge?

In the first game at 5:00 p.m., the Ryukyu Golden Kings take on the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins in an all-Japan meet.

Both teams squared off the the first round of the previous B.League playoffs. Ryukyu and Nagoya split their two games and the Golden Kings won a 10-minute, overtime "Game 3" by five points, 17-12, to advance.

All teams in the Terrific 12 Final Four enter the semis with undefeated records.
