MACAU --- Seoul takes third place in the Asia League's Terrific 12 tournament.
The Thunders waxed hot from deep Sunday at the Studio City Event Center here to overwhelm Japan's Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, 105-92.
Seoul fired 18 three-point shots to overwhelm the Dolphins for a podium finish.
The Thunders were able to dictate tempo early having made 12 treys in the first half alone with Glenn Cosey, Lee Gwan Hee, and Ben Mbala making at least two each.
Seoul led by as many as 17 points in the second half and when the Dolphins tried for one final run in the last two minutes, the Thunders were composed to secure the win.
"Before we started this Terrific 12 I was a bit worried about the outcome," head coach Lee Sang-min said via translator.
"But I'm gladthat we ended up with third place. It was a great chance and opportunity for us to prepare for our season," he added.
Cosey drained six treys for a game-high 34 points on top of seven assists and five rebounds while Mbala had himself a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds.
Lee Gwan Hee fired four triples for 16 points and 10 boards and Kin Tae Sul added another 14 points for good measure.
For the Dolphins, Markeith Cummings had 29 points but the team's other import, Craig Brackins, struggled for only nine points. Shuto Ando was Nagoya's top local with 18 markers.
