Joshua Munzon is in full control of his basketball journey right now.
After playing for the Wesports Malaysia Dragons in the ASEAN Basketball League last season, Munzon took his talents to the Asia League this year, suiting up for the iECO Green Warriors in the Terrific 12 tournament in Macau last week.
After one of his first tastes of playing for a Philippine team, Munzon sees himself playing basketball in the Philippines for good soon enough.
"For sure I see mayself palying in the Philipines," Munzon said.
"I think it's just a matter of time and the right situation," he added.
Munzon is currently looking at playing in the PBA D-League. Suiting up in the MPBL is an option as he's included in Pampanga's 20-man lineup.
The Fil-Am guard is not ruling out a return in the ABL as well where he's had some success over the last couple of seasons.
"I'm working on a couple things, talking to a couple of people. I mean, I am on the lineup of the Pampanga team so I could play at the Maharlika league. I do want to play D-League coming up so we'll see," Munzon said.
"Like they said, this team has a chance to play in the ABL maybe. Who knows they might want me for that team or maybe not. You never know. Only time can tell. But definitely I'll be playing, I think I'll be in the Philippines at the end of this year, just a matter of where exactly," he added.
