Meralco's 2018 FIBA-Asia Champions Cup title bid is officially over.

The Bolts missed out on the Finals Monday, losing to Iran's Petrochimi, 74-79, in the semifinals at Stadium 29 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

In a close game, the Bolts just fell short in the fourth quarter anew as they now settle for a bronze-medal game following the loss.

Allen Durham was a beast for Meralco, scoring 27 points and grabbing 11 rebounds before fouling out in the final minute.

Diamond Stone added 15 for the Bolts while Garvo Lanete was once again the team's top local, pouring 12 points.

For Petrochimi, who will meet either Alvark Tokyo or the SK Knights in the Finals, Behnam Yakhchali fired 29 points to lead all scorers.
