Meralco's rather disappointing stint in the 2018 FIBA-Asia Champions Cup ends on a sour note.

The Bolts took another loss in Nonthaburi, this time an 87-91 decision at the hands of the Seoul SK Knights at Stadium 29.

Still, Meralco will finish the tournament in fourth place despite a 1-4 record.

The Bolts' only win was a dominant victory over Al Riyadi which ended up putting the team in the semifinals.

Against South Korea's reigning league champions, Meralco used a furious third-quarter flurry to take the lead. However, as with their other losses in this tournament, the Bolts just failed to sustain the effort in the fourth period.

Diamond Stone led Meralco with 32 points and 13 rebounds whil Allen Durham added 21 points. KG Canaleta fired five triples for 15 points.

Dajuan Summers topscored the Knights with 26 points while four locals finished in double figures with Youngjun An dropping 17 markers.
