Gilas hosts Kazakhstan in penultimate home game
The final Gilas team for Kazakhstan has June Mar Fajardo, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Beau Belga, Alex Cabagnot, JP Erram, Marcio Lassiter, Gabe Norwood, LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson, and Matthew Wright. Stanley Pringle is the designated naturalized player for the Philippines.

The "best Philippine team ever" will finally get its first crack of real action Friday.

Gilas Pilipinas plays its penultimate home game in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, hosting Kazakhstan at the MOA Arena.

With a unified pool for the first time ever, Gilas has a new lineup featuring four Ginebra players and three from San Miguel.

The final Gilas team for Kazakhstan has June Mar Fajardo, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Beau Belga, Alex Cabagnot, JP Erram, Marcio Lassiter, Gabe Norwood, LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson, and Matthew Wright.

Stanley Pringle is the designated naturalized player for the Philippines.

Gilas currently has a 5-3 record, good enough for third place in Group F. The Philippines will qualify to the World Cup if it started before the game against Kazakhstan.

Tip off for the Philippines- Kazakhstan will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the MOA Arena.
