Terrence Romeo wants to prove himself in Gilas' next window
Romeo, who last played for the Philippines in the infamous Gilas-Australia brawl last July, is seeking a return to the national basketball program under coach Yeng Guiao.

Basketball star Terrence Romeo says he wants to prove to his doubters that he can still do it as part of the Gilas program in the sixth window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Romeo, who last played for the Philippines in the infamous Gilas-Australia brawl last July, is seeking a return to the national basketball program under coach Yeng Guiao.

The multiple-time scoring champ admitted that he took his non-inclusion to the squad hard, but he respects the people who chose the rosters in the games.

Pero kailangan natin respetuhin desisyon nila dahil binigyan ng kapangyarihan dahil doon," Romeo said in an interview with Mico Halili on 'The Score'.

He says that he is not closing the window if ever the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and the PBA select him for next year's games, and will whole-heartedly accept it and play his heart and soul for the country,
