ABL: PBA champion Romeo Travis joins Thailandís Mono Vampire

Travis, who returned to the PBA in 2018 after three years and won the Governorsí Cup title with the Hotshots, joins a Mono team that has struggled this season.
After winning a PBA championship with the Magnolia Hotshots, Romeo Travis is taking his talents to the Asean Basketball League.
According to his Instagram, Travis is headed to Thailand to suit up for Mono Vampire, San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas’ Finals rival from last season.
There, Travis will team up with Tyler Lamb, who has played for Thailand’s national team with several games against Gilas Pilipinas. Lamb previously played with Hong Kong Eastern, winning an ABL title in 2017 before losing to Alab in the semis last season.
Travis, who returned to the PBA in 2018 after three years and won the Governors’ Cup title with the Hotshots, joins a Mono team that has struggled this season.
After a Finals run in 2018, Mono Vampire is down to 9th place in the team standings, sporting a sorry 2-11 record.
