Filipino-American point guard Remy Martin took charge with a career-high 31 points for Arizona State in their 95-88 overtime win over the Arizona Wildcats Friday afternoon (Manila time) in the U.S. NCAA men's basketball tournament.
Martin dropped scored 8 of the Sun Devils' 12 points in the extra period as they fought off their state rivals to improve their slate to 15-6 (6-3).

The 6-foot point guard rounded out his career night with eight assists, a steal and five three-pointers on seven attempts.
Martin was aggressive throughout, earning 12 free throw attempts and making good on 10 of them to help the Sun Devils recover from a 33-36 deficit after the first half.
Arizona State managed to take the 83-80 lead before Wildcats senior guard Justin Coleman nailed the OT-forcing three-pointer.
Sun Devils forward Zylan Cheatham also had a big night, grabbing a career-high 22 rebounds to add to his 11 markers in the win.
Coleman led the Wildcats with 19 points in the loss.
