NBL: Ex-LPU guard propels Imus past cross-town rival Dasma

Kim Cinco had 29 points and converted eight of his 14 three-points as Imus Bandila beat the Dasmariñas Ballers, 81-79, on Sunday in the National Basketball League (NBL) Season 2 at the Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas gym.

Cinco scored three consecutive three-pointers late in the fourth as the former Lyceum cager led the Bandila to a win in their first game in the league.

In other games, CamSur, Iriga, and Zamboanga also scored their first victories of the season over the weekend.

AJ Margallo had 12 points and 11 rebounds as the CamSur Express defeated the Pasig Rios-Gameville, 76-64, while Mark Raton had 18 points and eight rebounds in the Iriga Oragons’ 86-85 win over the Quezon City Rising Stars.

Louie Pasamante had 27 points as the Zamboanga Valientes MLV defeated the One Cainta Titan, 83-58, to improve its record to 1-1.
