Metta World Peace is now in his second visit to the Philippines - and this time around, he was on a basketball court.
The one-time NBA champion wasn't playing on Thursday at the SM MOA Arena, however.
Instead, World Peace was on the sidelines for FilAm Sports USA, helping mentor Bong Ulep call the shots in their matchup with San Beda High School.
Just like his playing days, the 18-year NBA veteran was emotional as ever as a coach.
To the point that he got a technical foul.
Yes, at the 3:31 mark of the second quarter, referees slapped World Peace with a technical foul for entering the playing court.
In the end, though, the now 39-year-old was just staying true to his self - his self who accumulated 77 technical fouls in his storied career in the NBA.
