Full-force San Beda stays spotless at expense of CEU
San Beda remains perfect after three games

San Beda University maintained its perfect record in the 2019 Filoil Flying V Preseason Tournament after taking full advantage of an undermanned Centro Escolar University, 80-58, Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Donald Tankoua did the heavy lifting with 16 points and four rebounds while Calvin Oftana brought the backup with his own 12 markers and seven boards as the Red Lions won for the third time in as many games.

Clint Doliguez and Damie Cuntapay also added nine points apiece as the NCAA champions used a 29-point third quarter to put away the Scorpions.

CEU, just days after discarding seven players due to alleged game-fixing, got to suit up 10 players in this one, but still dropped to 2-3.

Pacing them was Jerome Santos who had 14 points and six rebounds while Maodo Malick Diouf posted a 10-marker, 11-rebound double-double.
